PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS

Dear Prospective Students:

We are excited that you have chosen to consider Harvard Business School for your MBA. We would like to invite you to a series of events on Friday, February 15, targeted at prospective students to the MBA program at HBS.

We hope these activities will clarify questions around the HBS application process, provide insights into the academic and broader student life at HBS, and open you to the network of African students and their experiences at HBS. These activities include:

  • An "MBA 101" presentation and Q&A session by the admissions office, providing an overview of the MBA program and the admission process (2 - 3pm)
  • A case simulation to see the case study method in action (3 - 4.30pm)
  • A Q&A session with a panel of current African students at HBS who will provide their views on the relevance of an MBA to one's future career plans and things to keep in mind as one weights the prospect of applying (4.45 - 5.45pm)

We encourage you to please visit other sites like http://www.hbs.edu/mba or http://www.hbsaasu.com/ for additional information that can be very helpful in the application process.  If you need help with essays or your application in general, please send an email to  afbc@studentclubs.hbs.edu, with the words "Application Help' in the subject line and we will work to answer your specific questions directly.  We would love to hear from you.

We are excited to have you on campus and we hope you find these sessions useful.

Sincerely,

Albert Biketi
VP Admissions
